A long week for Logan

Logan finished his 3rd round of chemo. He came home late Tuesday night, 1:30AM, and is having a very rough time with being sick, etc. Grandma Kathy spent Sunday night at Children's Hospital to give Jason a chance to get some sleep and today went with Kelly, Logan & Peyton back up to Children's Hospital so Logan could get a shot. She will go with them on Friday for the weekly clinic visit. Today a cowboy hat, a real one, arrived from our friends Linda and Maynard in Waco, Texas. It brought a big smile to Logan's face. Through all of this Logan has been a trooper. Last week's test results have given everyone a good reason to believe Logan will beat this one. All of your prayers are sincerely appreciated. Keep them coming.

A new day

Thanks to Dylan Hulbert we have a blog that really looks good. Kathy and I are starting to relax a little as we spent yesterday at a golf course and played our 1st 9 holes since we met. Needless to say it wasn't a pretty sight. I lost a ball in the ball washer and our scores, with a few mulligans, was what you would expect for 18 holes. We have sore muscles we didn't know we had before today. Today we spent 7 hours at the Puyallup Fair looking at horses, sheep , goats, art and a whole bunch of other things. The fair covers 167 acres and is one of the 10 largest in the country. We're going back on Sunday to see the Rodeo finals and all of the other things we missed including the pigs. Tomorrow we will be at Jason & Kelly's for a family barbecue and will stop and see Kathy's Mom. Hope every one is well. Have great Fall!

Our 1st Posting

This is Dave & Kathy Peters signing on - We're finally learning enough to post a blog. We are here in Graham, WA at the Rainier View RV Park with a beautiful view of Mt Rainier. We'll be here for some time. We arrived here in mid July for a baby shower only to find our 5 year old Grandson Logan was diagnosed with cancer. Needless to say, we are staying as long as we can help. Kathy's Son Jason and Wife Kelly are doing a great job. Kelly gave birth to Peyton, a great Grandson, while Logan was having chemo treatments. The picture above is Grandma with Peyton. You can keep posted on Logan's progress by going to the blog, http://loganjameslewis.blogspot.com/, It is updated almost every day. More to come.
